5 events, Children in Year 6 (and some Year 5) will visit Flatford Mill in Colchester. They will attend a 3 day, 2 night residential trip from Monday 1 June - Weds 3 June. During their stay, children will take part in exciting activities which include geo detecting, river surveys, campfires, bushcraft, orienteering and map reading.  Children in Year 4 will be completing their statutory assessments during the first 2 weeks of Summer 2 Term. To find out more about the Multiplication Table Check visit: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/multiplication-tables-check-information-for-parents  Please remember to collect your good quality, unwanted clothing for our Happy School Bag Collection. The final collection date will be on Wednesday 10 June, donations can not be accepted after this date. Additional donation bags can be collected from the Main Office. |

This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy some quality outdoor time with your child, connect with other families, while creating beautiful memories and a gorgeous garden!

 Children in Year 5 Quartz Class will attend Bruce Castle to take part in a Vikings themed workshop. During their visit they will explore artefacts from the Viking period. We will apply our historian knowledge while considering what the artefacts actually say about the Vikings who inhabited the local area over 1000 years ago. We are asking for a £3 contribution towards the cost of this trip - this is payable via the Arbor Shop. Children are required to wear full school uniform and will have lunch at school prior to the trip. |

4 events, Parents/Carers are invited to join us during the relevant Olympic Sports Day for their child(ren). Full school PE Kit should be worn to school a refillable water bottle is essential. Children must be prepared for the weather which may include wearing a sunhat and sunscreen.  As part of the Tottenham University experience, participating children will have a tour of Oxford University. Children must attend in full school uniform on this day and should arrive to Devonshire Hill School no later than 8am. A packed lunch is required for this trip and children will return to Devonshire Hill for 4.30pm.

Children will attend a special graduation ceremony at Haringey Sixth Form College and must be wearing full school uniform for the occasion. A selection of talented children from KS2 will be invited to take to the stage to showcase their hard work, dedication, and musical progress across this academic year.  Ms Brown welcomes our families to join us for a special singing performance for children in Year 1 to Year 6. The children have been practising their favourite songs, and learning some new ones. Everyone is welcome: Y1/Y2 at 1pm, Y3/Y4 at 1.40pm and Y5/Y6 at 2.20pm.

 Following a number of auditions with Mr Nathan, children from across the school have now been cast to take part in a special end of year production called 'Help! I'm Lost in Paris'. A letter will be been sent home to families with a child in the production - this dress rehearsal will take place after school and tickets for the performance are available to purchase via Arbor. |

The performance will take place at the London Academy of Excellence Tottenham where several other educational establishments will also perform. Watch this space! Children across the school will spend the day experiencing their new learning environment ahead of September 2026. |
