If your child was born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023, you need to apply for a reception school place for September 2026. During our first Celebration Assembly of the new academic year, we will celebrate attendance. Children in Year 3 to Year 6 will be awarded for 'Most Improved Attendance', 'Summer Term 100% Attendance' and Academic Year 100% Attendance'. We hope you can join us.

Appointments will be available to book via the Arbor App for 10 minute slots between 3.30pm – 4.20pm.

Year 3 will attend a special workshop with IntoUniversity. Children will discuss different career paths and look towards the future as they discuss 'What is a Career' and how they might achieve their long term goals. This event takes place in school.

Nursery parents/carers are invited to attend our Stay and Read sessions to share a story with your child in the classroom. Stay and read sessions take place every Tuesday from 8.45am or 12:15pm.

Children in Year 1 will take a short walk around the local area as part of their geography topic ‘Geography Around Us’.

Parents/Carers are invited to join us to find out more about our school's approach to Phonics in Reception. Learn more about the Read Write Inc programme, find out how best to practise phonics at home, and ask questions about the reading learning journey for children in Reception.

Children in Year 5 will attend a trip to the National as part of their current art topic, ‘progressive drawing skills’. All children must wear full school uniform and bring a packed lunch to school on this day.

Children in Year 6 Ammolite Class will attend daily sessions as part of their involvement in the IntoUniversity programme. During their visits children will take part in hands-on group tasks, creative projects and discussions. Full school uniform and a packed lunch will be required each day during this week.
