This term year 5 have been learning all about Space in their Topic lessons On Friday 10th March Year 5 were fortunate enough to visit the Science Museum to help bring their ‘Space Invaders’ unit to life. The children were able to take part in the ‘Rocket Show’ where a scientist explained Newton’s Laws of Motion through some very exciting experiments that had some pupils jumping up from their seats. Following lots of exciting explosions and big bangs pupils got to explored the ‘Wonder Lab’. Year 5 were able to test out scientific theories on a range of topics through interactive areas using magnets, dark rooms, heat sensors and slides.
