Take a look at our photographs from World Book Day 2017! Our pupils and staff spent the day celebrating books, authors, illustrators and most importantly reading by coming to school dressed as their favourite book character! There were so many excellent outfits across the whole school but we could only choose one winner from each class. Winners included the Queen of Hearts, Willy Wonka and Peter Pan from EYFS & KS1, we also had the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz, Fantastic Mr Fox and Gangsta Granny among the winners from KS2. After announcing the winners and presenting their prizes the pupils set off in their classes across the school to take part in a giant paired reading session. The fun didn’t stop there we had a very exciting Road Dahl themed lunch with Magic Fish & Pizza Fingers, Georges Marvelous Milkshakes, James’ Giant Peaches.
