Since our last update there has been a lot of progress with the development of our forest school. There is now a supply of water to the field which will support us to develop an allotment, our largest geo-dome is now proudly mounted on stilt-like legs to create an outdoor classroom. Work to build a traditional style round house has also begun and lots of new mature trees have been planted. Mr Pablo has applied his willow weaving skills to create living sculptures amongst the new forest school. There is still plenty to do but we can’t wait to see our pupils making good use of this new environment to develop their knowledge and understanding of nature, and skills of the outdoors.
