Children in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 will spend the day experiencing their new learning environment ahead of September 2025.
Selected children in Year 5 have been invited to a science themed enrichment day at the London Academy of Excellence Tottenham. During their visit children will will take part series of educational and exciting, hands-on science projects and a science show by Professor Andrew Syzdlo. Full school uniform, including black school shoes must be worn for this trip. A packed lunch must also be provided. Selected children in Year 3 - 6 will attend Mulberry Academy to explore the various artwork on display at the LIT Art Show. A number of artworks made by children from Devonshire Hill will be included in the exhibition. During their visit, children will also take part in a creative workshop at the Mulberry Academy art department. Full school uniform is required for this trip - including black school shoes. Children will return to school in time for lunch. All families are invited to attend Mulberry Academy to enjoy the artwork on display and for refreshments. LIT Art Show Poster
Ms Brown welcomes our parents/carers to join us for a special singing performance with Year 3 and Year 4. The children have been practising their favourite songs, and learning some new ones for everyone to enjoy!
Parents/Carers are encouraged to attend to collect your child's End of Year Report, visit your classrooms, collect completed exercise books and have an informal discussion with your class teacher.
All children must be collected at 1.15pm on Thursday 10th July to accommodate an informal parents/carers afternoon. This will be an open invitation to visit your child’s classroom, collect their End of Year Report and exercise books - please remember to bring a bag to help you carry the books home.
It's a big year for the Headteacher's Awards, 2025 marks our tenth anniversary! To make it extra special, we're welcoming a VIP guest. We can't wait for selected families to join us as we present Devonshire Hill’s most celebrated award!
Year 6 will celebrate one of their final forest school sessions before secondary school with a special bbq/picnic. Children will make vegetable kebabs to cook on the campfire and eat with their friends during a picnic style lunch.
Year 6 will visit Mulberry Academy to take part in a special science themed workshop. Children will attend in two groups, Ammolite Class and children participating in the Headteacher’s Awards will attend group 1 and arrive back to school by 1.30pm. Azore Class, with the exception of children participating in the Headteacher’s Awards will return to school by 3.30pm.Children should wear full school uniform and will have lunch at school prior to attending the workshops.
Unfortunately this event has been cancelled.Children in Year 4 will attend the Mini Massive Matinee at Alexandra Palace. During their visit, they will have an opportunity to perform a trumpet/violin piece. They will showcase their talent and passion for music in front of an enthusiastic audience. Children can either be collected from Alexandra Palace at 3pm or from Devonshire Hill at 4pm.Follow this link to view the letter for full information and to complete the permission form.
Children will return home and get changed into their best ‘prom’ outfits before the party begins. We are requesting a £5 contribution towards the cost of decorations and refreshments. Music and refreshments will be provided by the school. Parents/Carers are needed to volunteer with decorating and setting up for our children to have a fantastic prom! Please get in touch with your class teacher or visit the Office to offer your support.
Year 6 will perform for their families at a special production which they have prepared during their recent Haringey Shed workshops.

Children will be spending lots of time across the afternoon outside enjoying outdoor activities on the field with their friends. Note, there are no end of term class parties.Children should be prepared for the expected weather conditions which includes wearing suncream, a sun hat and having refillable bottles of water.
Please note that we are requesting a £5 contribution towards the cost of the leavers books.To celebrate the transition from Year 6 into secondary school, children will wear Devonshire Hill graduation gowns and mortarboards in a special graduation assembly - the perfect photo opportunity.

All lost property must be collected before the end of term. Any items which have not been collected on the last day of term will be disposed of or donated over the Summer Holiday. Good quality, clean school uniforms can be donated for our Pre-Loved Uniform stock.
