All Day

World Book Day 📖

£2 donation

Children and staff are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character for a donation of £2 this World Book Day. We will take part in a number of exciting activities including a book character parade, best homemade outfit award, a special themed lunch, free book tokens and a Wizard of Oz themed workshop! All funds raised will go towards new resources for our fantastic library.

The Light Box – Nursery Reception & Selected KS1

Main Hall at Devonshire Hill

Children in Nursery and Reception and selected children KS1 will take part in an interactive installation at our school. This installation will immerse children in an exploration of light, shadows and puppets bringing to life familiar stories and enabling children to create their own. This fantastic project is provided by Groundswell Arts.

KS2 Phase Assembly – Y3 Coral Class 🎭

Year 3 Coral Class will perform in a special sharing  assembly for their parents/carers to showcase their most recent learning. We hope you will be able to join us.

Tottenham University Event: Michael Rosen 📖🎓

at Haringey Sixth Form College

On world Book Day Michael Rosen will visit Tottenham University participants. Michael Rosen is children's author, poet, presenter, political columnist, broadcaster, activist, and academic, who is a professor of children's literature in the Department of Educational Studies at Goldsmiths, University of London. He has written over 200 books for children and adults. Children attending are required to wear full school uniform for this event.
