Earlier in the year children, families and staff helped to plant our brand new ‘Tiny Forest’. Some special visitors recently came to run our very first ‘Discovery Day’ where children and staff were able to come together and learn more about the benefits of this fantastic space and why it is so important. World of Work Week gave this session an interesting twist which focused our attention on jobs which are important to the outdoors which included conservation, nature, and maintenance roles. We hope everyone had a fantastic time taking care of the trees and wildlife.
If you are interested in volunteering some time to help with gardening in our Tiny Forest please get in touch with a member of staff at the office. We would be very grateful for your support, don’t forget to bring suitable footwear and gardening gloves.
