At the beginning of term, a group of 17 Year 5 & 6 athletes competed in a track and field meeting held at Heartlands High School. Our athletes sprinted, jumped, threw and hurdled their way to 7th place overall. There were several notable performances, including some superb sprinting from 2 of our Year 6 pupils in Azore Class, who came first in their 100m relay, beating 12 other schools in the process! It was a fantastic afternoon for all involved and the squad can be very proud of their efforts.
