This term our Year 5 pupils spent an afternoon at the North Middlesex Hospital learning the very important life saving skill of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Pupils were shown the basic techniques required to perform CPR. They were also introduced to defibrillators which use a high voltage electrical current to shock a heart into functioning normally again. Pupils were able to put their skills into action using life size CPR mannequins. Well done to everyone involved, what a valuable life skill to have.
