Dear Parents/Carers
As we move into the second week of school closure I am very concerned that some children did not log on to Google Classroom last week. The government is very clear in that children must be accessing learning and if they are learning from home then parents must support and encourage their children to do so.
- If you do not have a device then call the school on 020 8808 2053 so that the school can support you with loaning a device to your child.
- If you need help with logging on or your child has forgotten their log in details please call the school on 020 8808 2053
The school has published a Guide for Parents called Remote Education – Information for parents that is available to you on the school website at www.devonshirehill.com under the Remote Learning tab.
If your child is unwell and therefore would not be attending school if the school were open, you should call into school to report your child’s absence. This will be recorded on the daily attendance register and the teacher will then be aware that your child is unwell.
As always, we are here to help, please do not hesitate to call or email the school if you have any questions or if you are concerned about anything.
Yours sincerely
Julie D’Abreu
