Our Year 6 pupils have been exercising their mathematical minds in a series of maths workshops hosted by Isaac Anoom also known as Mr Numbervator. These workshops are aimed at finding each child’s inner passion for numbers by helping them develop their understanding of mathematical skills and concepts in an exciting and engaging way. Ms Baker says that “Mr Numbervator has been helping Y6 get to grips with different representations of addition and subtracting, for example using bar models, rounding and adjusting and using known facts to quickly answer maths problems.”
