On a bitterly cold Friday afternoon, 18 members of the school cross country team braved adverse conditions to run in the Primary Cross Country Championships at New River. The team ran their hearts out over 2000m of tricky terrain, including a stretch of extremely squelchy mud! All of our runners can be proud of completing the challenging course, but a special mention goes to Sana (Year 6 Ammolite) for a wonderful performance. We’ll continue practising on Friday mornings and it is rumoured that a few members of staff are looking to join the club, too!
