Changes to Inset Day:
CANCELLED INSET: Monday 17 April 2023
Please remove this date from your diary and note that school will be open as usual on this day.
NEW INSET DATE: Monday 14 November 2022
School will now be closed to children on this day.
Why has this change been made?
This change will allow for our staff to attend training on the ‘Talk for Writing’ programme. From September this exciting new programme will be introduced into our English Curriculum. Talk for Writing is a teaching approach which builds on the developmental skills and key language patterns that children need to be able to write with enjoyment and creativity. We are confident this training will support the development of children’s writing across the school, therefore making the change to our inset day necessary.
