Reception had some very special visitors this term. Some of them had 100 legs and some didn’t have any, some with 12 eyes and some with only 2 eyes, some had hairy skin some with smooth or slimy skin. Can you guess who they were?

The children each had the opportunity to get up close to an African snail, a tarantula, a non venomous snake, a hermit crab and a centipede. The children were very brave and even got the chance to touch or hold some of the animals. Well done to Opal and Pearl class for making these very interesting creatures feel so welcome and safe!
