Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of Music curriculum enhancement, Year 5 will be attending a school trip:
Location: Hackney Empire Performing Arts Theatre
Date: Thursday 7th July
Travel: Walking and Public Transport
We will be leaving school at 10:15am and returning to school at 13:15. Pupils will have a late lunch in the dining hall upon returning to school.
What happens on the trip?
During their visit, the children will be part of the audience for a classical music concert, learning about composers, conductors and instruments in the orchestra.
Please note the following:
- Please provide your child with a refillable bottle of water.
- Children must be dressed in full school uniform, including black school shoes.
- Please ensure they are also prepared for the current weather: eg. sunhat, sun cream etc
- A waterproof jacket must also be provided.
