Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of our science topic ‘Animals Including Humans’, Year 2 will be attending a school trip:
Location: London Zoo – Regent’s Park London NW1 4RY
Date: Friday 13 June 2025
Travel: public transport
We will be leaving school at 9.15AM and returning to school before the end of the school day.
What happens on the trip?
During their visit, the children will learn about different animals, their habitat and food chains. You can find out all about the different animals at London Zoo, including their habitats, by visiting the website: www.londonzoo.org/whats-here/animals
£9.50 Contribution:
In order for this trip to go ahead we are asking for all families to contribute £9.50 towards the cost of your child’s entry ticket which retails at £24.50.
Please note, if we are unable to raise sufficient funds, this trip will not be able to go ahead.

Please note the following:
- Children will need a healthy packed lunch and refillable bottle of water for this trip. Please confirm by 02.06.25 if you require the school to provide a free packed lunch: https://forms.gle/Pk4otuVydt8we53b7
- Children must be dressed in full school uniform, including black school shoes.
- Please ensure they are also prepared for the current weather. A waterproof jacket must be provided.
