Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of our History curriculum, Diamond Class will be attending a school trip to experience the ‘Wren, Rebuilding and The Great Fire of London’ workshop day.
Location: Wren 300 at St Vedast-Alias-Foster – 4 Foster Lane, EC2V 6HH
Date: Friday 1st December 2023
Travel: public transport
We will be leaving school at 9.15am and returning to school before the end of the school day.
What happens on the trip?
Wren, Rebuilding and The Great Fire of London will be a day of inspirational learning, involving hands-on activities, story-telling, visits and a guided walk, helping the children to learn about Wren’s great rebuilding of London and discover his phenomenal achievements and 17th-century churches, buildings and monuments.
Please note the following:
- Children will need a healthy packed lunch and refillable bottle of water for this trip. Please confirm by Friday 10th November if you require the school to provide a free packed lunch: https://forms.gle/Pk4otuVydt8we53b7
- Children must be dressed in full school uniform, including black school shoes.
- Please ensure they are also prepared for the current weather. A waterproof jacket must also be provided.
