Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of Year 1’s Topic curriculum, looking at changes over the last 100 years, Emerald Class will be attending a school trip:
Location: London Transport Museum
Date: Monday 10th October 2022
Travel: Public Transport
We will be leaving school at 10:00 and returning to school before the end of the school day.
What happens on the trip?
During their visit, the children will be time detectives, searching for a missing hat on vehicles from across the ages! The session will be led by professional actors employed by London Transport Museum.
Contribution:
We are asking for a £3.50 contribution per child towards this trip. This will cover the cost of the session and this can be paid via ParentMail.

If you are interested in accompanying Emerald Class on this trip, please contact the Main Office or speak with Ms Baker at the end of the school day.
Lunch For The Trip – please complete the form by Wednesday 5th October .
Children will need a healthy packed lunch, including a refillable bottle of water. Please use the Trip lunch form to confirm whether you will provide a lunch or if you would prefer a free lunch to be provided. All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are eligible for a free school meal.
Please note the following:
- Please provide your child with a healthy packed lunch (including a refillable bottle of water). If your child is entitled to free school meals, a lunch will be provided.
- Children must be dressed in full school uniform, including black school shoes.
- Please ensure they are also prepared for the current weather. A waterproof jacket must be provided.
