Year 6 Trips: IntoUniversity Focus Week
Dear Parent/Carer,
Year 6 will take part in an IntoUniversity Focus Week this term. Please see the following information from IntoUniversity:

Our team at IntoUniversity Haringey North are looking forward to welcoming Devonshire Hill Primary School to attend our Engineering FOCUS Weeks. IntoUniversity Haringey North Hub is located at Room 38, The Trampery, 639 high road, N178AA
During the week, students will learn about engineering in more detail, learn about going to university and developing key skills and knowledge. Each day, children will meet experienced people in this field and will visit our hub and locations that will teach them more about this subject, including a trip into London to The Postal Museum, and going on a trip to a university.

Transportation
School staff will bring students to our centre and return them to school before the end of the school day, ready for you to collect them at the usual time. We will be travelling to our trip locations by bus and tube. School staff and IntoUniversity staff will accompany students at all times whilst travelling.

The registration form linked above must be completed and signed by the child’s parent/guardian by Friday 25 September. It is very important that you complete the form as soon as possible. Your child will not be able to participate in the FOCUS Week or Transition workshop without it.

Please note that your child will need the following items every day during their Focus Week:
- Children will need a healthy packed lunch and refillable bottle of water. As all primary school aged children are currently eligible to a free school meal, please confirm by 23.09.26 if you require the school to provide a free packed lunch: https://forms.gle/Pk4otuVydt8we53b7
- Children must be dressed in full school uniform, including black school shoes.
- Please ensure they are also prepared for the current weather. A waterproof jacket must be provided.
