Year 6 Trip – St James Park
Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of our geography and science curriculum, Year 6 will be attending a school trip.
Location: St James Park, London
Date: Wednesday 8th July
Travel: Public transport
We will be leaving school at 9:30am and returning to school before the end of the school day.
What happens on the trip?
During their visit, the children will explore St James Park and learn more about the local environment, wildlife, and the importance of green spaces in London. They will have opportunities to observe and investigate their surroundings, ask questions, and make links to their learning in geography and science. The visit will support their understanding of the natural world, conservation of wildlife, local landmarks, and how public spaces are used and cared for.
Please note the following:
- Children will need a healthy packed lunch and refillable bottle of water for this trip. As all primary school aged children are currently eligible to a free school meal, please confirm by 17.06.26 if you require the school to provide a free packed lunch: https://forms.gle/Pk4otuVydt8we53b7
- Children must be dressed in full school uniform, including black school shoes.
- Please ensure they are also prepared for the current weather including protection from the sun and a waterproof jacket.
Yours Sincerely,
Ms Panayi & Ms Amal – Year 6 Class Teachers
