Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of Black History Month, Azore class will be attending a school trip:
Location: Bruce Castle
Date: Thursday 19th October 2023
Travel: walking
We will be leaving school at 12:30 and returning to school at 14:30
What happens on the trip?
During their visit, the children will take part in a free workshop called ‘The Grip’ which focuses on the history of the Windrush.
Please note the following:
- Children will have lunch at school as normal
- Children must be dressed in full school uniform, including black school shoes.
- Please ensure they are also prepared for the current weather
- A waterproof jacket must also be provided.
Parent volunteers are needed to enable this trip to go ahead. If you are able to offer your support on this trip please speak with your class teacher at the end of the school day.
