Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of our Summer 2 RE topic, ‘Opening Worlds’, we will be attending a school trip:
Location: Westminster Cathedral and Westminster Abbey
Date:
Year 5 will attend on: Tuesday 3 June
Year 6 will attend on: Wednesday 18 June
Travel: Bus to Seven Sisters, Victoria Line to Victoria
We will be leaving school at 9:30 and returning to school by the end of the school day.
What happens on the trip?
During their visit, the children will learn about the differences and similarities between the two denominations of the Christian faith.
Please note the following:
- Children will need a healthy packed lunch and refillable bottle of water for this trip.
As all primary school aged children are currently eligible to a free school meal, please confirm by 19/05/25 if you require the school to provide a free packed lunch: https://forms.gle/Pk4otuVydt8we53b7 - Children must be dressed in full school uniform, including black school shoes.
- Please ensure they are also prepared for the current weather. A waterproof jacket must be provided.
