Year 5 Trip – National Gallery
Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of our Art curriculum, Onyx Class will be attending a school trip:
Location: National Gallery, WC2N 5DN
Date: Friday 2 October 2026
Travel: Public Transport
We will be leaving school at 9am and returning to school before the end of the school day.
What happens on the trip?
During their visit, the children will learn how to shade effectively by an artist.
Please note the following:
- Children will need a healthy packed lunch and refillable bottle of water for this trip. As all primary school aged children are currently eligible to a free school meal, please confirm by 23/09/26 if you require the school to provide a free packed lunch: https://forms.gle/Pk4otuVydt8we53b7
- Children must be dressed in full school uniform, including black school shoes.
- Please ensure they are also prepared for the current weather. A waterproof jacket must be provided.
