Dear Parents/Carers,
This is a reminder that children in Year 5 and selected children in Year 4 will attend the Tottenham Hotspur Short Story Competition Finals this Friday 8 March. Thank you for your entries, there are some fantastic stories which are now being shortlisted.
As part of the Spurs Short Story Competition, children will be attending a school trip:
Location: Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium
Date: Friday 8 March
Travel: Walking
We will be leaving school at 11.15am and returning to school before the end of the school day. Children will have lunch at the stadium and therefore require a packed lunch on this day.
What happens on the trip?
During their visit, children will attend a THFC stadium tour, question and answer session with author Dan Freedman and an award and prize giving ceremony.
Please note the following:
- Children will need a healthy packed lunch and refillable bottle of water for this trip. As all primary school aged children are currently eligible to a free school meal, please inform the school office by Tuesday 5th March 24 at 9am if you require the school to provide a free packed lunch for your child.
- Children must be dressed in full school uniform, including black school shoes.
- Please ensure they are also prepared for the current weather. A waterproof jacket must also be provided.
