Year 5 | Residential Trip to Flatford Mill in Colchester
Dear Parent/Carer,
There are currently a total of 9 places remaining on the 2026 residential trip to the outdoor learning centre, Flatford Mill in Colchester. We would now like to offer this fantastic opportunity to Year 5 children to attend alongside Year 6. The trip offers a 3 day and 2 night residential trip where children will make lifelong memories together while exploring through outdoor learning.
The 9 places are now available to Year 5 families on a first come first served basis until 26.10.2025.
To secure a place, families are required to pay the first of five £25 installments towards the total cost of a £125 fee per child. Each child’s fee will cover the cost of activities, accommodation, hot meals and transportation for the duration of the trip.
Instalments are payable from Wednesday 22 October 2025 to May 2026 via the Arbor App >Trips>Flatford Mill Residential Trip. All installments must be received for your child to attend the trip:
| Wednesday 22 October 2025 £25 | December 2025 £25 | January 2026 £25 | March 2026 £25 | May 2026 £25 |
| Total: £125 (RRP £263) | ||||
To ensure that as many many children as possible can benefit from this opportunity, the school has secured substantial funding in order to reduce the cost charged from the retail price of £263.
