Year 5 IntoUniversity Trips
Dear Parent/Carer,
Please see the below information from IntoUniversity which includes details of two upcoming trips. Children are required to wear full school uniform for both dates and must bring a packed lunch to school for the Zoology FOCUS Day. If you require a packed lunch to be provided for this trip then please complete the lunch request form quoting ‘FOCUS’ by 13.03.26.
Dear parent/carer,
IntoUniversity is an educational organisation which works with your child’s school. We
provide local learning centres where young people are inspired to achieve. Your nearest centre is
IntoUniversity Haringey North, located in Tower Gardens Estate. Your child’s class will be working
with IntoUniversity this year and again when they move into Year 6.
Our team at IntoUniversity Haringey North are really looking forward to welcoming Devonshire Hill
Primary School Year 5 to attend our workshops at the IntoUniversity Centre:
‘What is a University?’
Year 5 Onyx + Quartz on Friday 6 March 2026
Zoology FOCUS Day – packed lunch required
Year 5 Onyx – Wednesday 25 March 2026
Year 5 Quartz – Thursday 26 March 2026.
These workshops will encourage the children to think about university and a specific university topic. Your child should arrive punctually at school as usual and bring a coat and packed lunch with them on both days. School staff will accompany the children to our centre and return them to the school before the end of the school day, ready for you to collect them at the usual time.
Registration form – this will follow home shortly
To attend workshops, a parent or guardian must complete a registration form their child. It is very important that you complete and sign the form, and return the form to your child’s class teacher as soon as possible. Your child will not be able to participate in the ‘What is a University?’ or FOCUS Day workshops without a returned registration form.
