Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of an educational day aimed and preparations for transition to secondary school, Year 4 and Year 5 will be attending a school trip:
Location: Mulberry Academy
Date: Year 4 – Tuesday 1 July 2025
Year 5 – Friday 4 July 2025
Travel: walking
We will be leaving school at 10am and returning to school before the end of the school day.
What happens on the trip?
During their visit, the children will take part in a mix of engaging activities, including cooking, science, and sports.
Please note the following:
- A refillable water bottle must be provided. Mulberry Academy will provide a breaktime snack and a lunch. Children with allergies or those who would prefer to provide their own food should bring a healthy snack and a packed lunch to school for this trip.
- Children must be dressed in full school uniform, including black school shoes.
- Full school PE Kit including trainers should be brought to school in a backpack for the sports session – note this must be in the school colours.
- Please ensure they are also prepared for the current weather. Suncream and a sun hat is recommended.
