Year 2 World of Work Week Trip
Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of World of Work Week, Year 2 will be attending a school trip:
Location: Morrisons Wood Green

Sapphire Class – Thursday 19th March 2026
Diamond Class – Thursday 26th March 2026
Travel: Public transport
We will be leaving school at 9.15am and returning to school by 12.45pm for a late lunch.
What happens on the trip?
During their visit, the children will take part in a guided tour of the store where they will learn about the different jobs roles at Morrisons and how the store operates each day. They will visit a range of departments such as fresh produce, bakery, and other food counters to see how products are prepared, displayed, and sold to customers.
The children will also learn about food safety, where food comes from, and how staff work together to make sure the store runs smoothly. They may have the opportunity to ask questions and, where appropriate, taste some products while following allergen guidance.
Please note the following:
- Children must be dressed in full school uniform, including black school shoes.
- Please ensure they are also prepared for the current weather. A waterproof jacket must be provided.
