Year 2 Trip – The Great Fire of London
Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of our history topic, Year 2 will be attending a school trip:
Location: Temple Bar Gateway, St Pauls
Date: Friday 16th October 2026
Travel: Public transport
We will be leaving school at 9am and returning to school before the end of the school day.
What happens on the trip?
During our visit, the children will take part in the ‘Wren, Rebuilding and The Great Fire of London’ workshop. Children will take part in inspirational, hands-on activities which include story-telling, visits and a guided walk.
Please note the following:
- Children will need a healthy packed lunch and refillable bottle of water for this trip. Please confirm by 23.09.26 if you require the school to provide a free packed lunch: https://forms.gle/Pk4otuVydt8we53b7
- Children must be dressed in full school uniform, including black school shoes.
- Please ensure they are also prepared for the current weather. A waterproof jacket must be provided.
