Welcome back – Autumn Term 2025

Tuesday 2 September 2025

Dear Parent/Carer,

We would like to offer all of our families a warm welcome back following what we hope was an enjoyable and relaxing summer break. As we begin the new academic year, we are excited to share details of significant updates which have taken place within our school during this recent period of closure.

Substantial financial investments contributed from both school funds and Haringey Council has enabled us to make improvements which have greatly enhanced our school environment.

Projects taking place have included:

Migration to Arbor which is now live. All families should have downloaded the arbor app to their mobile device and logged in for the first time. Please check your email including your junk mail, for the welcome message and login details. Arbor will now be our main method of communication, and replaces MyEd. You will require access to your child’s account in order to book an appointment for Parents/Carers Consultation Week for which slots will be released on a first come first served basis shortly.

New energy-efficient LED Lighting has been installed in classrooms and other key areas. This will provide a brighter and more comfortable learning environment for our students and staff.

Updates of the KS2 Corridor and Classrooms have been completed by the Local Authority; we are sure you’ll notice a much-improved space.

Full refurbishment of the KS1 and Reception Toilet facilities have been commissioned by the school to include an expanded entrance and brand new facilities. This fresher and more modern space will offer a more hygienic and comfortable experience for our youngest children.

The Reception playground has been expanded to offer a larger space for our reception children to learn and play outside.

A waiting area has been added to the Main Entrance, this will help us better manage visitor access. Please note that visitors will only be granted access into the building if scheduled to visit and we are unable to accommodate meetings without prior appointment.

Lino flooring in the Main Hall is being replaced to provide a fresh and clean space for assemblies and events.

We look forward to welcoming you to experience some of these changes and to meet your new Class Teacher during our upcoming Parents/Carers Consultation Week which begins on Monday 15 September.

Yours sincerely,
Julie D’Abreu | Headteacher
