Update: Nursery Arrangements
Dear parents/carers,
I am writing to update you with regards to Ruby Class and Moonstone Class arrangements and to further inform you about Ms Daria’s absence.
Unfortunately Ms Daria is unwell, and I’m sure you will join me in sending her our very best wishes for a speedy recovery. We are all looking forward to welcoming her back to our nursery soon.
We have had an agency nursery teacher during the first few days of Ms Daria’s absence, but now we know that her sickness absence is for a longer term, we have secured two very experienced nursery teachers:
- Ms Matherson (Monday)
- Ms Koutsopoulou (Tuesday to Friday)
This arrangement will be in place until the end of the Autumn Term.
I’m aware that there are a lot of ‘different faces’ in the team for our families to familiarise with.
To confirm, the adults in our nursery include:
- the Nursery Teacher
- an Early Years Practitioner
- two Apprentices
- TLevel Students (from our local 6th form college)
- Volunteers
Ms Georgiades, the EYFS Leader and Reception teacher, has been overseeing all of the planning for the nursery and has been ensuring that the children’s education and experience is consistently high during Ms Daria’s absence.
It is always sad when a member of staff is off from work long term due to illness. Please be reassured that the school applies its best endeavours to ensure that this does not negatively impact on your child/children’s experience at our nursery.
Please do not hesitate to contact the school office if you wish to speak with Ms Georgiades in the absence of Ms Daria. Ms Georgiades will be happy to assist with any questions/queries/concerns you may have.
Yours sincerely,
Julie D’Abreu | Headteacher
