Dear Parent/Carer,
Ammolite Class Teacher
Ms McLoughlin will be leaving our school on 28th March 2024, having taught Year 5 and Year 6
since April 2023. We wish her all the best for the future.
When we return from Easter break, Ms Georgiades, Deputy Headteacher, will be teaching
Ammolite class up until their SATs exams in May. This will allow the school time to secure a
teacher for summer term.
Please be assured that the curriculum is planned in advance and the delivery and
expectations of teaching and learning remain at a very high standard. Ms Georgiades has been
working with Year 6 throughout this academic year and is fully aware of the attainment levels of
children from both Year 6 classes.
Ms Adams – Learning Support (SEN)
Ms Adams will be retiring at the end of this month after many years at this school, supporting our
most vulnerable children. Her last day will be Thursday, 28th March. I’m sure you will join us in
thanking Ms Adams for all her hard work and dedication to the school and in wishing her a very
happy retirement.
