Dear Parent/Carer,
During their music lessons Year 2 will begin learning to play the recorder. In order for this to take place and for hygiene reasons the children will need their own instrument.
The school has sourced enough recorders for each child to have their own and we are asking our Year 2 families to contribute towards the cost of your child’s recorder. This recorder will belong to your child, eventually they will be invited to take home their recorders in order to practise.
At the end of the academic year children will take their recorder home to keep.
