Dear Parent/Carer,
This week we have been bringing the Reception children out a bit earlier at 3:05. This seems to have worked well. Between both classes we have 60 young children to hand over at the end of the day. Therefore your understanding of this is very much appreciated and you can help us by:
- Waiting and being patient with us
- Not calling your child as we have to ‘hand’ them to you
- Understanding that some children have multiple adults on their pick up list and sometimes we may not recognise you and will need to check first
- Being aware that some children have special needs and require a bit more space and time
- Understanding that your child may, on occasion, not look as ‘neat and tidy’ as when you sent them in
- Understanding that your child may have mislaid their coat/hat/lunchbox/jumper etc.
The school operates a lost property collection and this is located in the Main School Entrance to the school. Please check in here for your child’s lost item. It may not be in there immediately so please check the day after as well. You can help by making sure all your child’s clothing has their name clearly on it.
Please note that the school has a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive behaviour.
