Dear Parents/Carers,
In response to the very sad news of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Today, the teachers will hold a short assembly in class and will be sharing with your children some of the key historical moments of the Queen’s life. There are very many memories that each of us will immediately think about, one of our favourites as a school is the recent image of the Queen ‘with’ Paddington Bear, filmed for the Queen’s recent Platinum Jubilee.
Over the coming days, and up until the State Funeral, we will spend time each day reflecting on this historical time in a positive way of celebration of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
