Dear Parents/Carers,
As you will be aware, the National Education Union (NEU) has declared strike action that will be held during this term. Please note the dates as follows with the first being next Wednesday 1st of February, with three other planned dates for London schools on the 2nd, 15th and 16th of March.
The school has been advised that a number of teachers will be taking strike action and as soon as the school has this confirmed you will be notified. At this time I doubt that the school will be able to open safely to children on Wednesday 1st February and therefore ask that you make alternative child care arrangements for that day as most probably the school will be closed to pupils.
The school is working closely with our staff and Haringey union representatives to keep up to date with the situation, and I will inform you of the final arrangements as soon as possible.
Please note that the NEU’s dispute is with the Government and not with the school.
