Dear Parents/Carers,
Our school has now transferred to a new communications app called MyEd which replaces ParentMail from today. MyEd will now be our main platform for communications including announcements, letters and events etc.
All parents/carers should now have the free MyEd app downloaded onto their mobile device: Apple iOS App Store / Google Android App
Please note the following important points:
- Attendance: The attendance tool within MyEd is currently undergoing a repair as all attendance is stuck at 0%. This issue is being dealt with by the app provider.
- Absence Reporting: MyEd has absence reporting functions, our preferred method of absences reporting are as follows:
- call the Main Office 0208 808 2053 (if prompted please leave a voicemail)
- email attendance@devonshirehill.haringey.sch.uk
- message via the ‘report absence’ chat function on MyEd
While the app does have a feature which enables ‘Report Absence by Phone’ this function will incur a cost to the user and we advise you to use one of the above options instead.
- Calendar Function: The calendar function within the MyEd app is not currently in use. The school calendar can be accessed on the school website calendar which is linked within the app under ‘School Information’ – did you know that you can subscribe to our school calendar?
- Payments: If you were a ParentMail user, all payment items should automatically be transferred to MYEd in the next 2 working days.
If you have any queries about MyEd, please do not hesitate to ask Ms Hayley, who is available on the gate in the mornings, alternatively please visit the Office where a member of staff will be happy to assist you.
