Year 1 to Year 6  – Millfield Theatre Panto 2024

Dear Parents/Carers,

As part of this year’s winter celebrations we are fortunate enough to have secured seats for children in Year 1 to Year 6 to attend our local theatre and see Aladdin and the Magic Lamp this December:

Location: Millfield Theatre

Date:

  • Tuesday 10th December  at 10am – Year 1 & Year 2
  • Tuesday 10th December at 1pm – Year 3 & Year 4
  • Wednesday 11th December at 10am – Year 5 & Year 6

Travel: walking
Each year group will be leaving school approximately one hour before the performance start time and returning to school during the school day. 

Lunch
Children attending a morning performance will have lunch upon their return.
Children attending an afternoon performance will have lunch prior to their departure.

What happens on the trip?
During their visit, the children will experience the pantomime Aladdin and the Magic Lamp.
Note that the show will contain crowd interaction, loud sounds and music as well as strobe lighting.

We have secured a discount and are asking for a £13:50 contribution towards this trip. In previous years we have subsidised the ticket costs substantially however this year we are unable to do so.  Payment will go towards the cost of your child’s ticket which retails at £18 + an administration fee.

Please note the following:

  • Children must be dressed in full school uniform, including black school shoes. 
  • Please ensure they are also prepared for the current weather. A waterproof jacket must be provided.
