Dear Parents/Carers of Year 3 Children
Firstly, I hope you are all keeping safe and that you and your families are keeping well.
We are pleased to inform you that the Year 3 teachers Mr Slav and Ms Georgiades have decided to start live lessons starting on Wednesday 24th February 2021. Children will need to be ready and prepared to access a device to attend the lesson. The timetable is as follows. The Year 3 teachers may add to/change the timetable, so please keep up to date with information coming from Ms Slav and Ms Georgiades in regards to this.
Year 3 Live Learning
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday
- 9:00am – English
- 10:00am – Maths
- 11:00am – Group 1 – Guided Reading
- 11:20am – Group 2 – Guided Reading
- 11:40am – Group 3 – Guided Reading
The year 3 teachers will be informing parents/carers of what group their child will be in.
Children who are currently in school will log on from in school to join the live session as required.
In preparation if you do not have a device, please contact the school so we can support you. Do your best to provide your child with a quiet space where they can join the live lesson and be there to support them to join and access the lesson in the first instance. The lesson will be delivered via Google Meets and a link will be posted on Google Classroom.
Mr Slav & Ms Georgiades will provide all the information that you need.

I am looking forward to being able to offer live lessons to our Year 3 children. It is vital that the Year 3 children access as much learning as possible to support their transition to Year 4. This will also be a good opportunity for your child to see and speak with their teachers.
