Dear Parents/Carers of children in Amethyst Class
Ms Dassanayake
I write to inform you that Ms Dassanayake, your child’s class teacher is no longer working at our school. Ms Dassanayake’s decision to leave so suddenly was a personal request. I know that this may come as a bit of a shock at the short notice of her departure and that she was not able to say goodbye to the children. The children will be informed and I will ask Ms Alexis, Emerald Class Teacher, who is very familiar to the children to let them know.
In the meantime, the school will be seeking a replacement and this may take a few days for us to secure the very best teacher for your child and the school. During this time we have a familiar face to many of us, Ms O Donkor (who has taught at our school numerous times over many years), teaching Amethyst Class. The curriculum is planned in advance and the delivery and expectations of teaching and learning remain at a very high standard.
As soon as we have secured a suitable replacement for Ms Dassanayake I will write to you.
