Create a Hat for Great Mental Health Day
Dear parent/carer,
As you may be aware, our school is one of 14 educational establishments in Haringey which form Learning in Tottenham (LIT). A very exciting opportunity has arisen for these schools to come together for some friendly competition as well as a very exciting event to celebrate Great Mental Health Day 2024.
We encourage all of our families to take part and hope that you will support our school to play a key role in making this community event a great success for everyone involved.
LIT Great Mental Health Hat Competition:
It’s time to apply that creativity and imagination for a great cause. Learning in Tottenham invites you to create a hat which promotes great mental health. Your hat can be made from any materials that you choose, especially upcycled ones. To help get you started we have included some theme examples below:
- Promote positive thinking
- Celebrate individuality
- Encourage an active & healthy lifestyle
- Represent memories and happiness
- Offer kindness and motivation
- Tell a story of hopes and dreams
- Generate laughter or make someone smile
- Be vibrant and bold
What’s next?
Create a hat at home with your family. It should be imaginative and inspired by Great Mental Health.
Clearly write your name, year and school on the inside of your beautifully crafted hat.
Wear your hat to your school on Friday 19 January 2024
Up to ten hats per school will be selected for presentation to VIP guests!
