Dear Parents/Carers,
Welcome back to the summer term, I hope you all had a good Easter break.
Following on from my letter to you to inform you of my retirement this July, I’m more than delighted to tell you that Ms Georgiades, our Deputy Headteacher will be taking on the role of (Interim) Headteacher from September 2026.
As you will all be aware, Ms Georgiades is a long standing and highly committed member of the senior team at Devonshire Hill. She has been instrumental in driving forward our school improvement priorities, ensuring our school is at the forefront of teaching an exceptional curriculum for your children and achieving very high outcomes that exceeds the National expectations year on year. Ms Georgiades is committed to our Vision and our Ethos and will continue to build upon the very high standards of our highly successful school. She will be strongly supported by our governing body, the senior team, and our committed team of teachers and support staff. I know that you will all be delighted by this news and that you will fully support Ms Georgiades as she leads our school to the next level of success.
We will be seeking an Interim Deputy Headteacher to support Ms Georgiades across the academic year (Sept ’26 – August ’27) and as soon as we have secured this post we will update you.
