We are excited to invite you and your family to take part in a community fundraising challenge this May, supporting children across our local schools – including those here at The Devonshire Hill Nursery & Primary School.
Horizons charity is organising 100km in May challenge and we would love as many families as possible to get involved and support a great cause. You can take part on your own or as a team!
How it works:
We challenge as many people as possible to walk, run, swim, cycle, row or even scoot 100km across the month of May. We encourage anyone involved to reach the 100km in any way they choose, at any pace that is comfortable – the only goal is to reach the 100km target by the end of the month.
What is Horizons charity?
Horizons charity creates extracurricular opportunities for children across three boroughs: Haringey, Enfield and Waltham Forest. We know how important it is for children to participate in life-changing experiences outside of lesson time, especially for those whose access may be limited by disadvantage. Horizons has funded lessons, school trips to the theatre and outward bound trips.
As the cost-of-living crisis continues to widen disparities within the education system, your support can help us make a real difference. Initiatives like this help us care for the young people in our communities.
