Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of our Talk for Writing story, ‘The Little Red Hen’, Reception will be attending a school trip:
Location: Hackney City Farm
Date: Wednesday 18th October 2023
Travel: Walking and the Overground trainline
We will be leaving school at 9.00 and returning to school before the end of the school day.
What happens on the trip?
During their visit, the children will get to see the different animals that live on a farm and how they are looked after. They will make links between the characters in our story to the animals that they see.
Please note the following:
- All children will need a healthy packed lunch and refillable bottle of water for this trip. Please confirm by Wednesday 11th October 2023 if you require the school to provide a free packed lunch: https://forms.gle/Pk4otuVydt8we53b7
- Children must be dressed in full school uniform, including black school shoes.
- They must also be prepared for the current weather, this includes having a waterproof jacket.
