Dear Parent/Carer,
You are receiving this letter because you have booked a place for your child to attend the residential trip to Flatford Mill. Any outstanding payments must be settled as soon as possible before Friday 14 February.
As a reminder, please see the full information below regarding dates, times and the kit list.
Location: Flatford Mill, East Bergholt, Colchester, CO7 6UL
Dates: Wednesday 5th March – Friday 7th March 2025 (two nights and three days)
Travel: Coach – departing at 9am on Wednesday 5th March
Please arrive at school no later than 8.30am
Meals:
- Please ensure that your child has a healthy breakfast before arriving to school
- Children are required to bring a refillable bottle of water that can be used during their stay
- The school will provide a packed lunch for Day 1 – please request your child’s preference using this link by Friday 14th February
- Breakfast, lunch and evening meals will be provided during our stay.
- Children are required to bring a reusable lunchbox and water bottle, as we will be making lunches each day.

- 8.30am – arrive to school
- 9am coach departs from Devonshire Hill to Flatford Mill

Thursday 6 March

- rivers & streams
- evening campfire
Friday 7 March
- wilderness bushcraft
- 12.45pm – depart Flatford Mill to Devonshire Hill
- 3.15pm – ETA for arrival back to school
