End of Year Production – ‘Help! I’m Lost in Paris’
Dear Parent/Carer,
We are delighted to announce this year’s end of year production: “Help! I’m Lost in Paris” – an original show written and created especially for children at Devonshire Hill.
The idea behind this production was to create a fun, imaginative and exciting opportunity for children to express their creativity and talents through drama, music, dance and performance. Inspired by the beauty, culture and adventure of various countries, the show takes the audience on a lively journey filled with humour, teamwork and memorable moments.
Last term, around 110 children from across Reception to Year 6 took part in auditions for acting, singing and dancing roles. We would like to say a huge congratulations to the children who were selected for the official cast and an equally huge well done and thank you to every child who auditioned. We were incredibly proud of the courage and enthusiasm shown by everyone who took part.
Auditioning takes confidence and resilience. Every child should feel proud of themselves for stepping forward and sharing their talents.
We warmly invite parents and carers to come and support the children at one of two performances:
‘Help! I’m Lost in Paris’ – Friday 3 July at 9:15am / 2:15pm
