Dear Parents/carers,
The Nursery is beginning to take shape with additional furniture and the arrival of lots of resources to replace worn out and broken items. Resourcing such a huge space in one go is incredibly expensive and we would really like your help with donating items that you no longer need.
Please see a list of items we are asking for:
Items for our home corners:
- Sieves, pots and pans (not heavy ones)
- Spoons of all sizes
- Rolling pins
- Pastry cutters
- Plastic plates/beakers that are in good condition
- Plastic jugs
- Measuring items
Items for the sand pit:
- Any type of digging item
- Buckets
- Plastic containers – all sorts of shapes and sizes
- Any type of sand toys- diggers etc.
Items for role play:
- Dolls
- Prams
- Pushchairs
- Ride on toys
- Dressing up clothes
- Hats
- Bags – especially handbags
- Shoes (not high heels)
Additional items:
- Good condition books for 2/3/4 year olds
- Small world toys, vehicles, cars, aeroplanes/people etc.
- Trains
- Soft toys
- Dolls house and furniture
- Play garage
If you have items you wish to donate that are not on the list please do not hesitate to email admin@devonshirehill.haringey.sch.uk and someone will get back to you.
Please take your donations straight to the nursery where my colleagues will be delighted to accept them.
