Dear Parent/Carer,
As you will be aware, ____________________ was recently selected as a finalist at our recent LIT’s Got Talent auditions.
This is a fantastic achievement and means that they will now go on to perform with two other children as a trio. This event is highly competitive with seven educational establishments attending in only five weeks time on Tuesday 1 July 2025.
Our fantastic trio will perform a song together, for which they now have the lyrics/sheet music to help them rehearse. The children have plenty of work to do to be performance ready, including:
- refining their knowledge of the lyrics/sheet music
- practicing positive, expressive and animated body language
- feeling confident to perform together and in front of an audience
- deciding what outfits they will wear for the occasion
The children will have an opportunity to perform for an audience at our upcoming phase assemblies from the week commencing Monday 9 June.
It is very important that they continue to practise at home, supported by their family. We hope that the May half term break provides you with plenty of opportunity for this. It is very important that you offer as much support as you are able to at home, as our busy timetable during the school day does not offer much opportunity for practice.
