Dear Parent/Carers of children in Year 6
The school received a report of children in our school playing in a local park in an unsafe way. If your child is allowed to play out in parks without an adult can you please remind them of safety and of playing in a responsible way. I have spoken to the children today and reminded them of keeping safe and playing responsibly. Also that if they were worried about anything when playing in public places to let you know immediately or speak to a member of staff in school.
Following on from this the school asked all Year 6 children to empty out their bags so the school can be assured that we do not have any children bringing personal/unsuitable items into school. As you are aware the children are not allowed to bring personal items into school.
Quite concerning was the number of items children are bringing into school including mobile phones, money, sweets and a range of personal items that are not permitted.
Please speak with your child about this and arrange for a responsible adult to collect the items from school.
In addition, please note that frozen bottles of water are not permitted in school.
